Heartfelt as always and a beautiful call to action. The point about gun control made me realize that what I want in my leaders is not to build a technocracy (which was my assumption before), it’s moral courage to do unpopular stuff.

Thanks for writing this and sending you guys lots of love.

Thank you man. As always I only want to write/publish things that say something interesting or different, and I get the strong sense that Australians have lost the memory of what civic responsibility means, both from leaders and the public. Perhaps there's a broader, non-Australian observation in this too, but Australia - and particularly the depths we find ourselves in after the massacre - provides an especially painful and personal example.

Action. Living as Jews informing ourselves and our colleagues friends and countrymen is crucial. It feels like perhaps the global Jewish community can do more of that, and hopefully our influence will compel our nation states in which we live to follow. We here in America are connected to the Australian Jewish community and should be moreso. Aussie Jews have a special nature that I hope finds strength such as what lies in your words here.

Thanks Joe. Appreciate the support from our Jewish and non-Jewish friends here in the U.S.
